The season is here for gatherings of family and friends for holidays, celebrations, sporting events, and for no reason at all other than friendship. Food is usually an important guest.

It’s a perfect time to chat about energy Charging Food & Beverages. The key ingredients are focus, setting intent, and belief in ourselves. Whether just beginning to learn about the power of our own subtle energy or are long experienced in the energy arts, the following sets the tone for enhancing our health:

For those just learning about energy:

  • Rub both hands together hard and fast. This will create energy in the palms of hands that will last long enough for this practice.

  • Palms will exhibit a sign of energy through heat, tingles, itchiness, or a sense of elasticity between the hands.

For those more experienced in hand energy, raise it either through holding hands a small distance apart and slowly moving them back and forth until energy is generated or raise it merely by thinking about it.

Finally, for everyone, once hand energy is felt:

  • Relax hands but remain focused on their energy

  • Set intention for infusing the food or beverage with positive health – or wording most comfortable for you.

  • Keep hands relaxed. Hold them over the food/beverage, leaving about an inch between hands and food.

  • Silently state your intention as you visualize energy going from hands into the food or beverage. This takes only a moment or two.

  • This is a fun practice to share with children and a perfect way to introduce energy to them.

Reminder:   Intake of icy cold food or beverages stop the flow of energy, especially to our digestive system. For energy practitioners, it may temporarily dampen energetic flow throughout the physical body.
